RABIES

While only three people died of rabies in the United States in 1996, over 7000 cases were confirmed in animals. This data has been collected from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

All warm-blooded animals can transmit rabies. Rabies is a viral disease that attacks the central nervous system. Once symptoms are noticed, the disease is ALWAYS fatal!
